Fifteenth Sunday After Pentecost: 6 September 2026

Dearly Beloved Franciscans,

Living Water is the international theme for the Liturgical Season of Creation which is from 01 Sept to the 1st Sunday in October.
Stagnant water has the potential to collect disease and make creatures of all kinds very ill even unto death.
Whereas, Living Water has the awesome ability to restore, revive and sustain life.

As Christians, and because our bodies are made up of substantial amounts of water: 75%-78% for little babies and between 50%-65% for adults, our presence carries the potential too to be life-enhancing and life-giving…. or not. In a society which often sucks us dry, it is such a relief consistently to turn and return to Jesus who is our unceasing source of Living Water.

We look forward to being together (online or in-person) at our Sunday Eucharist. Please note the route for the Spar Women’s race that morning and and plan a route to circumnavigate this and get to church.
