Seventh Sunday after Easter. 1 June 2025

Dearly Beloved Franciscans,

We celebrated such a joyous Ascension Day Eucharist on Thursday, 29 May 2025.
The transcendent and cosmic feel of this Feast Day always needs to be held in balance with the intimacy of being in union with the Divine and the touch of the ever-present presence of God. There’s a deep sense in which we are called to imbibe the truth that nothing is too small and unimportant for God and nothing is too big and overwhelming for God. This is such a relief and a liberation from unnecessary angst on our part. We all need the reverence and awe that transcendence invites us into, as well as the holy hugs of Jesus with us.

REMINDER!!! On Sunday, 01 June, our Eucharist begins at 9.00am as a kindness to ourselves in these cold winter months.
