Dearly Beloved Franciscans,
It is so easy to be overwhelmed with worry as so much US Aid is being withdrawn from SA. Added to this, apparently, some USA billionaires are also bowing to the pressure from President Trump to conform to his will and ways.
Strange as it may sound, Mr Trump & Co’s machinations has been very good for my prayer life. As an ordinary South African, I have limited agency with regards to the USA.
And yet…..there is a God-given certainty that my prayers, & everyone else’s too, are adding something significant to God’s energy for good & for love.
So….do not give up!!
