Dearly Beloved Franciscans

It would seem that in this life, certainly in spiritual terms, we cannot ever say that we have arrived!  Sometimes we feel as if we are walking blind with very little guidance from the Spirit, other times we may feel as if malign forces are at our heels, and other times it feels like an endless journey, certainly the escaping Hebrew slaves of our Exodus reading for Sunday has all of these elements in it, and so much more too.   As is often the case, the journey is coloured by our relationships and companions.  May we savour the blessing of this community and be wonderful companions to one another.
