Dearly Beloved Franciscans

Apparently, there is an Afghani idiom which says: “you are not a man [woman] until you give your love, truly and freely, to a child.  And you are not a good man [woman] until you earn the love, truly and freely, of a child in return”. What a humbling reminder that we need children in our midst as part of fulfilling our humanity.
