Dearly Beloved Franciscans
Pentecost is in many ways quite a dramatic feast in our liturgical calendar, not only because of the red vestments (p.s. you may like to wear something red on Sunday to join in with the spirit of the day), but also because of the “untamedness” of God’s Being made manifest in the Holy Spirit. The wonderful wildness of the Spirit is not something to be feared but to be celebrated as She who invigorates, refreshes, illuminates us for the aliveness of LIFE.
