Macrina Wiederkehr (Benedictine nun) wrote a prayer which usually catches us by surprise because of our tendency towards self-condemnation: “Lord, help me to believe the truth about myself, no matter how beautiful it is.”  As we welcome the Diocesan Ordinands with us in our Sunday Eucharistic Service, we are honoured to share in one another’s God-given beauty and wonderfulness.
