Dearly Beloved Franciscans

The Baptism of three children at our Sunday Eucharist is raise our heart in great gratitude to God for this extraordinary perpetuation of life in our midst.  For me, every child born is a love message from God reassuring us that God has not given up on humanity.  Procreation is in a way an extension of God’s co-creativity with us;  without this gift human life would struggle to perpetuate itself.  So, each child born is a very real investment from God in us and is a sign of Divine Hope.  What a wonderful reason to celebrate!
