There is a vacancy in St Francis Parish office. This vocational position is key to the Parish and requires excellent networking skills, the ability to motivate volunteers, and good administrative skills. A knowledge of the Church and attendance at the 9.30 am worship service and both teas every Sunday is required. Operating under pressure and dealing with a wide variety of people is essential, as are good typing skills and computer literacy, including database management. This part-time position may require working over extended hours at times. The salary is church-based, and the position is available immediately. Perhaps the Sunday duty could be reduced to once or twice a month – that might make the position open to Christians from other parishes or congregations.
